Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)
Payment Policy
As a private practice, our operational approach follows a fee-for-service policy, entailing payment collection at the session’s time. If your insurance provider includes out-of-network benefits, there’s a chance you could receive reimbursement from them. To facilitate this process, we furnish a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for consideration. The specific rate of reimbursement is established by your insurance provider. Should you wish to learn more about session costs, kindly reach out to use for further details.

What is a typical session like?
Arrive to an open and calm lounge. Your therapist will greet you at your appointment time. Each session is one-on-one with the therapist for the duration of either 60 or 90 minutes.
Sessions begin with listening to you communicate your story and goals for therapy to ensure your plan of care involves your needs. Then assessment such as ROM and functional testing will take place. Treatment will be determined by these assessments and guided by your defined functional goals.
What should I wear for my visit?
Please bring a pair of exercise clothes that you would feel comfortable moving in. We also ask that you bring the foot wear you usually walk or run in.
Do I need a doctor referral?
The state of New York is a direct access state. Therefore you may see a Physical Therapist without a prescription/referral from a doctor. However, in many cases, out of network insurance does eventually require a prescription for reimbursement.
Do you take insurance?
Your insurance may be covered by our services if you have out of network benefits. We can provide you with a superbill that may be submitted to your insurance. Reimbursement rate is determined by your provider.
Do you accept FSA/HSA?
YES! If your HSA/FSA card is linked to a major credit card corporation we are able to accept that as a form of payment.
